Bruce became concerned that migration stories were being used as political rhetorical weapons, rather than seen in historical context as a normal human reaction to traditional and extreme conditions.  Bruce is an Adjunct Professor of Engineering at Stanford University, and co-founder of Urban Logic and its related projects to improve regional quality of life.
