Bruce Cahan, co-organizer

Bruce became concerned that migration stories were being used as political rhetorical weapons, rather than seen in historical context as a normal human reaction to traditional and extreme conditions.  Bruce is an Adjunct Professor of Engineering at Stanford University, and co-founder of Urban Logic and its related projects to improve regional quality of life. Angeliki Kapoglou, co-organizer

Angeliki partnered to create the 19 Million Project, that convened 150+ journalists covering the Syrian Refugee Crisis, and rapidly innovated new ways to map and report the refugees’ stories, the conditions they left behind and face in resettlement.  Angeliki’s  LinkedIn bio is here.
